Daily Fishing Tours
Choose between full and half day fishing tours on the Nile River. You will get the opportunity to catch the sought after Nile Perch, Sematunda Catfish, Tiger Fish and more!
Please note that all fishing is catch-and-release.
Fishing gear is available to use for an extra charge.
Permits need to be bought at the Uganda Wildlife Authority Headquarters at the park entrance prior to arrival.
Birding & Nature Walk
Explore the beautiful riverine forest with one of our expert guides for a birding and nature walk. The walk will take you on a 2 hour loop around Hemingway’s camp where you will get the chance to spot endemic forest as well as river and wetland bird species.
Marvel at the incredible array of butterflies that flit between the forest and dry riverbeds.
Bush Dinner
Enjoy a three course, starlit, private dinner in the bush overlooking the Nile River. Bush dinners are served a short walking distance from Hemingway’s camp, with 180 degree views of the Nile River.

Daily Boat Cruise
Choose between a one hour sunrise or sunset boat cruise along the Nile River with Murchison Falls as your backdrop. Enjoy spectacular game viewing along the river bank of Murchison Falls National Park and spot elephants, Nile Buffaloes, Giraffe, Crocodiles and so much more. There is nothing better than enjoying your morning cup of coffee or your choice of sundowner beverage whilst watching wildlife laze about in the sun.
Morning boat leaves from Hemingway’s at 7am and evening boat leaves from Hemingway’s at 5pm.
Murchison and Uhuru Falls Hike
Hike to the magnificent Murchison and Uhuru Falls on foot, and get up close and personal to the world most powerful falls! The falls walk is a total of 3,5km and takes roughly 2.5 hours to complete. It is a natural hike along the banks of the Nile River and over stunning headlands offering 180 degree views of the Nile River below. Add on the breakfast at the falls and sip your morning coffee while we prepare a freshly cooked breakfast with the most incredible view of the falls
